The Lyryx Support Team is available daily to ensure a seamless integration and use of the Lyryx material in courses.
We are part of your TEAM!
The Lyryx Support Team will help instructors create courses and replicate material from previous courses, manage multi-sections and special accounts for teaching assistants or anyone else required to monitor the course, create online homework and examinations, and remain available throughout the course to provide prompt and efficient assistance.
At the same time, the Support Team will assist students with their registration in Lyryx courses, transfer of registration from one section to another when required (including all applicable grades), and is able to handle special situations in a prompt and efficient manner.
Instructor Support
Getting Started
- Lyryx works with you to develop a solution based on your needs. We help you to navigate easily through the available options, including adaptation of a textbook, online homework, and a wide variety of supplementary materials.
- First, we create a Lyryx instructor account for you. We also create a course, which contains access to the free open textbook and to the corresponding online homework, and we assign that course to your account. We send the details to you along with additional information to help you to navigate the system. In addition, our support teams are available 7 days/week by email for any further assistance you may need.
Multi Section Management
- Lyryx works with course coordinators to create consistency across sections and assist in the management of large course logistics.
Teaching Assistant Accounts
- Lyryx provides special accounts and support for TAs or anyone else required to monitor the course.
Timely Assistance
- Support for instructors is available 7 days/week to provide prompt and efficient assistance.
LMS Integration
To ensure seamless and secure access for instructors and students, Lyryx fully assists with LMS integration. This includes:
- Single Sign-On (SSO) – SSO permits students and instructors to access Lyryx’s platform from a portal within your LMS – no additional username or passwords required.
- Gradebook Synchronization – Allows for all assignments to be incorporated into the LMS grade book and real-time updating of student marks.
LMS platforms include, but not limited to: Blackboard, Canvas, D2L Brightspace, Moodle, Canvas, etc.
Student Support
Registration Assistance
- Lyryx provides course-specific student registration documents to facilitate student registration.
Course/Section Changes
- Understanding the needs of the students, Lyryx can seamlessly transfer a registration from one section to another, including all applicable grades.
Account Management & Navigation
- The Lyryx interface is simple, intuitive and user friendly.
Timely Assistance
- Student Support is available 7 days/week to provide prompt and efficient service.
